The impact that the lessons were having on these young males propelled
Rodney to develop the M.A.L.E. INSTITUTE™ and to start assisting others
in gaining the necessary skills to effectively work with this
population. The curriculum received a positive response by many
educators and parents at the Texas Education Agency's Parent
Involvement Conference.
The train-the-trainer program was developed and first presented at the
Region 13 Education Service Center to various educators, teachers,
counselors,
ministers, directors, and parents. Many implemented the ideas and
curriculum into their schools and after-school programs.
Today the
M.A.L.E. INSTITUTE™ curriculum continues to help young males navigate
through their journey towards manhood as we equip others to impact
young males lives in their families and communities.
